Workers toil away, Posh shops, Coffee shops
On King Street today a few bars line the street Pounding yer feet To a Mancunian beat
Yeah, theres no treats in July for the homeless guys they stand in the road tryin to goad, Swayin and sayin Spare some change Times a gotta change Cos Labours in Take it on the chin, Will they help the homeless guys Or more of the same It’s all a game
For those in power, We all Glower, Its startin to shower On king street by day, There told to go away they’l be back another day
Homeless today And everyday, Yeah
